  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes sliced
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Use a sharp knife to carefully cut a pocket into each chicken breast horizontally, creating space for filling.
  2. Place sliced mozzarella and tomato inside each chicken pocket, then wrap each breast with two slices of prosciutto, securing the filling and adding flavor.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the stuffed chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and releasing a fragrant aroma.
  4. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven, let rest for 2 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve immediately, showcasing the melty cheese and colorful toppings.
