Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy cleanup.
- Prepare the chicken: Rinse the chicken breasts and cut them into thin strips approximately 1-inch wide. Arrange them on a clean plate.1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Set up a breading station: In one shallow dish, place the flour; in a second dish, beat the eggs; and in a third dish, mix panko breadcrumbs with paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Dredge each chicken strip: First, coat a strip in flour until lightly coated, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally roll in the seasoned panko breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Place coated strips on a plate.1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Arrange the breaded chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with vegetable oil to promote crispiness and even browning. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Remove from oven once the tenders are crispy and golden. Serve immediately with your favorite dips or sides.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken in buttermilk for 30 minutes before breading. Can be air-fried at 375°F for 10-12 minutes for an even healthier version.
