Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef preferably lean
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil optional, for browning
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt and pepper add after cooking
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes fresh or canned
  • 4 taco shells or lettuce wraps preferably keto-friendly

Method
 

  1. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once shimmering, add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and caramelized around the edges, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  2. Add chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to the browned beef. Stir well to coat the meat evenly with spices. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant and spices are toasted slightly.
